About Alyssa

My story started with a campfire…

Growing up, I spent countless weekends camping and hiking with my family. My grandma always brought disposable cameras that she would take to the pharmacy to develop, and I begged her to let me have one. She eventually agreed… and I used up all 30 shots on the campfire in two minutes (overshooter for life!). I remember the look on my grandma’s face when she realized what I did. But every trip after that, she bought me more and more disposable cameras to use. She saw those firepit photos and gently taught me about composition, sparking a passion that never left.

Now, 20 years later, I’m still telling love stories through my lens.

I feel so lucky to capture a moment in time for couples. I love meeting new people, capturing their wild, raw, beautiful moments, and helping them truly be in the moment. I not only get to tell their story, but document it for them to look back on for the rest of their lives.

My Promise to you

I get inspired by authentic moments. I’m not here to make you look good with over-posed photos — I’m here to capture you and your love as you are. And capture the moments in between moments. It's important to me that you feel like you in your photos.

I love the forest! You’ll often catch me taking frequent trips to Flagstaff for beautiful weather and the trees.

I’m a huge coffee and energy drink fan. I’m always looking for a new coffee/drink shop to try, so if you have any recommendations, please send them my way!

I love music and going to concerts. Music is a huge inspiration for my photography. I love taking photos that illicit the same feeling I get from some of my favorite songs. Some artists I love are By The Coast, Hazlett, Novo Amor, and of course Taylor Swift.
